Respite Care

Respite care is the temporary care of a child with special needs so that parents/caregivers can have a needed break. The Web sites below have contact information for national organizations as well as their local chapters.

    Children's Service Society of Wisconsin offers a volunteer respite program for families of children with special health care needs. They also offer activities and programs in three core service areas: out-of-home care, counseling and case management and prevention services.
